I have seen several people mention the Aptera being able to reverse 1 front motor but not the other to make it possible to do complete 360 degree "tank turns" in place. Is this going to be a feature, or just wishful thinking?

With about 1400 pounds on the front tires, they should be able to overcome the friction of only about 600Lb on the one rear tire.
The rear tire can be made to rotate slowly without power, simply by making the front tires turn at the required difference in speed to create a bit of forward or reverse movement.
@Daniel Watkins I don't see why 3 motors would be needed: Power one front wheel & maybe brake or reverse the other one, & the rear wheel just slides sideways, with or without a motor in it.

The feature would probably be reserved for an off-road mode you need to enable . Would involve all 3 motors.
