@kiteboarder ...unless you're not on the average daily drive and your vehicle isn't fully-charged. We have no idea how efficient the heating or cooling system of the Aptera will be - and the interior of any vehicle with a black upper surface and large windows will heat considerably no matter the ambient temperature. I'm assuming that @Andrew Dunn was thinking in terms of an Aptera spending the workday sitting in a parking lot - not a momentary stop to pick-up milk at the grocery store.
Drivers won't be able to employ a reflective windshield cover IF they want full solar charging capability. Your choice to cover or not, HOWEVER...
You will most likely be able to click your phone 5 minutes before you leave & your car is heated/cooled to whatever temp you set. Even my compliance Fiat EV has that.

There are, however, some non-darkening IR-reflective films on the market that are nearly transparent and can be used on windshields.
They elaborated on very thin solar cells. They could be using thin film cells like Solar Frontier does.
You can park it in the shade and it will produce electricity. It even works in a lit parking lot overnight (albeit less kwh) and when partly shaded.
My EV takes about 0.08kWh to cool down after baking in hot SoCal sun. That's 2.1% of Aptera's workday solar charge.

Skin also has coolant liquid channels.
Line 123 of Aptera's FAQ Spreadsheet says the windows CAN be tinted.
The solar panels also power ventilation to help keep the interior at outside temperature
Solar reflective glass, which Zi suppose you can tint ” if needed”
The resin filled sandwich core composite is suupose to have good insulation too.
