I live in France, near the Swiss/German border and there are a ton of Swiss and German DAB+ station. FM will be shut down very soon in Switzerland too.
So, will there be a DAB+ radio fitted in the Aptera. It is what I use most to listen to music while driving.
As I live near the border, the phone will often go to the Swiss 4G network (much stronger signal than French) and I can't use internet then as roaming is very expensive (1 euro/MB) so I won't stream music from the phone.
With everything going to digital receivers these days, this becomes an issue of software defined radio (SDR) regardless of the digital or analog standard used. A broadly capable SDR application in the Aptera from the factory would seem like a no-brainer. If not, there will still likely be a means to upgrade it. May just be rolled in with the rest of the homologation also.
It will probably take ±16 years before any Aptera will be available in France... and ±8 years before any will be available in the US. So... it is probably to soon to worry about DAB+... ;)
