I would also include one of these in the trunk. It pops up automatically and creates a perfect space for changing in and out of my business attire when I might stay at a camping site near my business meetings. This is why I ordered the Aptera Camper Option because in many cases it is preferable to a four-walls hotel room in may of the places I go to visit. I do an whole lot of business travel. It's also cheap as dirt at under $30. Here's a link:
Yes. The Solar Window company makes a film that is transparent which would capture light and turn it into into electricity. This would work well on even the windshield!
Also solar windows company has some technology that will allow the entire car to absorb energy from sun without need for solar panels…they should contact them to see if its feasible to work with their car
i love to car camp…if there’s anyway to design interior so seats can be flat and make a nice sleeping space that would be great. Looks like it might be ok from the renders…but too many cars make car camping uncomfortable because they are too short to stretch legs out or seats not designed for sleeping…sometimes i like to just sit in driver seat and push seat as far back as possible, so if it could go flat that would be great….would like to see the larger aptera idea they discussed in a video which would be nicer for camping as it should have more storage space
I love this render that was used for a Forbes article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/sebastianblanco/2020/03/31/aptera-gets-550000-crowd-led-investment-round/?sh=3e45901f499f
I have not seen their illustration or a engineering rendering, and they were asking for examples...
I sent this one in but I am trying to find out if it is real or yet another
manufacturer’s rendering😞
IfAptera designs it... you know it will be leighyweight and aerodynamic because... “that’s the way they roll!” But I can’t blame them to focus on delivering the vehicle and not all these accessories! IMHO😉
What I like about Aptera... their renderings are like reality!🥰
Think about all the comcpet cars that never look like reality
