Hi, I searched on this and didn’t find it covered, but if it was sorry. The product info makes reference to the ability of the Aptera to go in snow (awd), however, if traveling over a summit and chains are required, is it easy to remove the aerodynamic shells and put chains on all three tires? Thanks.

I live in Colorado and passenger car chain requirements on the passes are rare and can be met with “snow socks” which would not damage the wheel covers. In practice, modern snow tires have gotten so good (plus AWD and traction control), that I haven't needed to use chains or even studded snows for 25 years.
A good question in behalf of the northern fans and the Mountain Wes fans. I used to live in Park City UT and at times needed chains to get up the pass from work in SLC to home and up my drive way. Live in FL now so forgot about that problem. But is significant in snowy climates probably some places in Europe too
@jim.foreman I'd guess that too. I suggested elsewhere that a good question would be "Do they fit inside?".
Apparently they come off SO easily that it's a theft concern.
Yes, at most it will take two minutes to un-clip the wheel pants and put chains on per wheel.
