@Brian Kirby Yes it has A/C, spec'd for ambient temps from -20 to 125 F. There will be several USB ports. The stereo will have an upgraded version available. Bluetooth connections.

Here's a 3D rendering of the Aptera with its doors open. I downloaded this from their wevsite in August, 2019.

Their door design may have been modified since then, since that image has been removed from their website. You can still find it on Wikipedia in the "Aptera 3"article, because I asked Aptera if I could add it there.

So add 10 inches to the width for each door open all the way. Maybe.

In my garages I never opened my conventional vehicle's doors “ fully” to get out, I just side out on a slight angle

In some gerages a had a small bumper where the door bumped the adjacent cabinet

I think some other EVs can do that, but with this vehicle, the only way I see towing it is to lift the two front wheels and at best you'd get partial regen charging only if you had the three motor config (rear wheel is the only one left on the ground turning).

Regen from an EV being towed, will add drag to the towing vehicle. So you'd lose out everywhere except long steep downhills.

@Jerry McIntire I agree with you. It is hard to compare the Tesla Model 3 or Model 2 to an Aptera. 4 wheeled cars are hard to compare straight across the board to a three wheeled motorcycle. Each will have it strong points, but it is still an apple to orange comparison. Tesla has manufacturing history, servicing anywhere in the US, it's own charging network with DC fast charging, multiple safety systems, full passenger surround air bags, full autonomous driving capability, five passenger and ample cargo, can tow a small trailer, latest battery production, Made in America, etc. Don't get me wrong, I truly want Aptera's mission to succeed, but it will be hard, because they source their parts from so many different places. If one major part becomes hard to get, the whole production goes down. The Model 2 with tax incentives will be much cheaper than an Aptera, but that may be good for us since the competition will potentially lower Aptera's price structure. Let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.

@Jerry McIntire I test drove the eNiro as well. The lease deal might be attractive. the Korean companies have other EVs on the way. 10yr/100,000 mile warranty means no fuel, except of course electric juice, or maintenance/repairs during a standard lease. And yes, I agree, supporting Aptera type technology is important progressing ahead.

@Jerry McIntire agreed Jerry. As many have demonstrated with the enthusiasm for this technology a segment of the population are all about the success of a company like Aptera. We put money down on a dream. I am between cars as I desire to be part of the change

Gordon, there are a lot of committed people working on this. Chris Anthony has already brought another company he founded - a lithium battery company, through an IPO. He has a very successful record of fundraising for companies - over 100 million dollars. I watched the Tesla start closely, and Aptera is far ahead of where they were at the same stage. I think this is going to happen.
