In the videos and photographs online, I've been looking at the way the trunk is designed. I keep thinking about how stuff slides around in the trunk. Generally, it is the back of the seat that stops stuff from moving forward. However, in the Aptera the floor of the truck is pretty high. So, what is going to stop the stuff that I put in the trunk of the car from slamming into the back of my head when I hit the breaks to stop?

Same as any car with the back seats folded down, or any 2-seater hatchback I've seen.
They said it will come with a cargo net in one of the videos. It would be required for Europe, in any case.
It may be that the headrest will help. So far, it and the seat back are a single unit.
You’re probably right and we know the pet kit includes a net
We also just learned that the beta model will have the cargo area lowered for more headspace in the cargo area🎉
I imagine it'll have a net, attached to hooks. No need to worry, aftermarket community will develop for this vehicle No doubt.
