Chris Anthony made a kind of throw-away comment in the Beta Webinar that there would be room for a week's worth of camping gear under the floor of the storage area. I assume that this was not a misstatement, and I assume that the Aptera will not come with a spare tire. Having had flats in the middle of nowhere, I have had visions of being stuck in the middle of nowhere and paying a local garage for an exorbitant sum for a new wheel rim and tire or a flat-bed transit fee. For those who might choose to carry a spare, will there be enough room under the floor for a tire and jack?

So many here are worried about a spare tire not being furnished. So many here have apparently never fixed a tire in their lives. Plugging a tire is so easy. It is recommended to have plugged tires taken and patched by a garage. That is fine but I never do and have never regretted it either. Just carry a $5 tire plug kit, a sissors jack and an electric tire pump and you will be just fine. You really don't even need the sissors jack because most likely you can plug the hole without even removing the tire, so long as you can find the nail, screw, or whatever it is that pierced your tire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N55sqDfMofg&ab_channel=DIYWithMichaelBorders
The motors are in the wheels. The donut or full size spare will not have an extra motor in it. Maybe the can of goop and tire plug will not be so bad? How easy would it be to disconnect the motor in addition to the regular procedure of changing a tire?
Just eat a good portion of your meals at fast food joints and you'll be carrying a spare tire in no time at all, problem solved.
We also could use more info about if there will be a frunk and how much storage capacity that will provide. I think this will have more storage capacity than any other 2 seater ever made... except for some trucks.
I would pay extra for a Spare Tire and Proper Jack.
Are you shouting, or is it just an issue with "copy and paste "
We often carry multiple tires in Baja or the northern Nevada desert but I haven’t had a flat on normal roads in over 15 years. It’s always good to be prepared and I would definitely put a tire repair kit in if I were going on a long trip. Hopefully they will give us an air suspension option then there will be no need for a pump.
Carry a tire plug kit and and an electric tire pump. You will be able to fix most tire issues quickly.
