I notice that all the exterior color schemes have a dark colored roof, but I see no mention of air conditioning. If the solar cells are dark as well including the ones on the dashboard inside the car, they will emit considerable amounts of heat which will heat up the interior of the vehicle. I think it would be best to have a highly reflective roof, maybe even mirrored.I think that without some kind of substantial AC that passengers would be uncomfortably hot.

TBD. How well does your's work?
Aptera's cooling was designed to work well up to 125F.
Above that, they will need to test in the upcoming months
How well does the air conditioning work in Death Valley, mid summer?
I have a patio made out of solar panels on top and underneath it's nice and shadowed even during hot days.
Aptera will have A/C, we will see if they keep the "skin" idea (micro channels) or they go for a more conventional solution.
I appreciate the advanced skin design and passive cooling, but I have yet to find/read the answer to, "does it have a/c?" So, the rephrase, is there an A/C system to actively cool (and heat for that matter) the cabin? Can I get in turn on the A/C? Can I get in and turn on the heat?
and,
Where can I see a video or even stills of the interior of the vehicle? The web site feels a bit...obtuse.
Air conditioning is standard. The Aptera cools itself through liquid convection in its "skin" surfaces and is solar powered as well, so the Aptera can stay comfortable all day without draining the battery much if at all.
The amount of glass will also cause significant interior heat gain. We'll probably need interior window reflector sun shields.
I agree, interested in AC solution. It gets hot and humid in the summer and a black roof will bake the interior.
I do know one function of the solar array is to exhaust interior heat to try to keep at outside ambient temperature.... the main function in the old Aptera 2e
The said there will also some kind of heat exchange within the aptera composite skin???
Lots to understand! Standby
