I have always wanted a button on the key fob that would put the windows up, down, and open enough for a dog. It should cycle through the settings. It would be good to open the windows to cool down the car before I walk to it.

🙄 Be careful what you wish for . . .
My Chevy Volt key fob has 1 of those 3 "features": it opens all the windows with a long key press. Imagine my surprise when I come out on a cold winter morning to find my seats filled with snow! Apparently sitting on my keys in my pants pocket the night before caused the windows to open without my knowledge.
I would need to go to the Chevy dealer to have that "feature" removed. Now I don't put anything other than my keys in that pocket, or keep the keys in my coat.
I would never trust a pet cooling feature. So you just take for granted that some electronic gizmo is going to function as intended and then you completely forget that your pet or child is in the vehicle and return hours later to find them dead from heat stroke.
What Bruce states is my understanding too but the “details” not published. Also the solar panels, even the minimum amount can power a venting system to try to keep the interior temp that of outside. But “for me“ I would need the Pet Cooling option and I think my wife( VMD ) would approved that ...Good Boy !👅😉
I think that the vehicle can be programmed with a "pet mode" to maintain the cabin at a temperature suitable for an animal, or on a timer to cool down before you return to the car. There will be a lot of options.
I have always wanted a dog that could open his own window.
